The Syllabus, in Full
For universities, technical colleges and mining departments considering endorsing the certificate, co-issuing it, or teaching the syllabus themselves.
The Shape of It
Three Parts and an Assessment
Not an examination of recall. The assessment is a plan a bank could act on, read by somebody who works in the trade.
| Part | Volume | What It Covers | How It Is Assessed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Core Course | 13 modules, 92 lessons | The commercial side of mining: the line from ground to payment, deposits as assets, rights and licences, structuring, costing, grade and price, selling, finance, logistics, compliance, people, value-add and formalisation | One exercise per module on the reader's own opportunity |
| The Majors | 12 Majors, 144 units | One mineral business each, every one on the same twelve-unit spine with its value chain drawn, so a second Major reads in an afternoon | Carried into the Capstone |
| Reference | 55 minerals, 119 terms, 110 calculations | The Library, the Dictionary and the Toolkit, cross-referenced into every lesson | Not assessed; used throughout |
| Capstone | One costed plan | A real opportunity costed end to end, with its gaps named rather than hidden | Marked against a published rubric by a practitioner |
Three Ways to Work With It
Endorse the certificate. Your institution's name appears beside ours on the certificate, and your department sees the rubric and the submissions it is applied to.
Co-issue it. The learning runs here, the assessment is shared, and the certificate carries both names and one verifiable number.
Teach it on your own campus. Under licence, with the same rubric, so that your assessment and ours remain the same assessment.
